Spotzer is a fast-paced, rapidly growing, global digital marketing business. Headquartered out of Amsterdam, we are serving tens of thousands of businesses across the world by building their websites, launching their paid search campaigns and creating power content.
We are looking for a **native (Austrian) German Freelance Proofreader** who can work remotely and help us deliver error free copy to our small business clients. You will be communicating with our Content Manager who works from our office in Amsterdam. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and a keen interest in the written word.
**Duties**
* Check websites, blogs and articles for accuracy and correct errors.
* Ensure compliance with the request brief and guidelines conventions.
* Review content for clarity, accuracy and readability.
* Edit and proofread text for grammar, punctuation and spelling.
**Preferred Qualifications And Experience**
* Native level of German(Austrian German is preferred).
* Strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles.
* A degree or diploma in language, journalism, communications, marketing or any other related field.
* 1-3 years of experience writing as a freelancer or working for an advertising or marketing agency (traditional or interactive) preferred.
* A keen enthusiasm for and a basic understanding of web trends and technologies.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle different writing demands.
